1. Overview
Welcome to ADHD Clinical Academy. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to ADHD Clinical Academy.
ADHD Clinical Academy operates this website and online store, including all related information, educational content, digital learning materials, live teaching sessions, recordings, downloadable resources, tools, products and services (together, the “Services”). The Services are powered by Shopify, which enables online purchasing and digital course delivery functionality.
These Terms and Conditions, together with any policies referenced within them, set out the basis upon which you may access and use the Services.
By accessing, browsing, purchasing from, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
2. Access, Eligibility and Accounts
You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under the laws of England and Wales.
Our courses are intended primarily for healthcare professionals and related professionals, including but not limited to doctors, nurses, pharmacists, psychologists, allied health professionals, social care professionals, and other appropriately qualified practitioners.
You are responsible for ensuring that participation in any course is appropriate to your professional role, registration status, indemnity arrangements, employer requirements, and scope of practice.
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate access where eligibility, professional status, or intended use has been materially misrepresented.
Where account access is required, login credentials must remain confidential. Accounts are personal to the purchaser and must not be shared, transferred, sublicensed, or resold.
3. Educational Nature of the Services
All courses, materials, frameworks, templates, videos, live teaching sessions, recordings, assessments, certificates, and related content provided by ADHD Clinical Academy are educational in nature only.
Courses may be delivered live, on demand, or through a combination of live and recorded teaching, as described on the relevant course page.
Failure to attend live sessions does not entitle participants to refunds, extensions, replacement teaching, or additional access unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Participation in a course does not create a clinician patient, practitioner patient, advisory, supervisory, or therapeutic relationship.
Nothing within the Services should be relied upon as the sole basis for clinical, prescribing, diagnostic, treatment, employment, governance, or business decisions.
Participants remain solely responsible for:
• Practising within their professional scope and competence
• Maintaining appropriate professional registration and indemnity
• Complying with applicable laws, regulatory standards, and local governance arrangements
• Ensuring appropriate supervision and employer approval where required
Completion of a course does not:
• Grant a licence to practise
• Extend scope of practice
• Confer prescribing authority
• Confer independent diagnostic authority
• Confirm clinical competence
• Replace supervision, governance, or employer authorisation requirements
Any clinical activity undertaken following participation in a course remains the sole responsibility of the participant.
Certificates issued by ADHD Clinical Academy confirm attendance or completion only and do not certify competency, accreditation, qualification, or authority to practise independently.
4. NICE NG87 Aligned Course Positioning
Certain courses are structured around the principles and diagnostic approach outlined within NICE NG87 Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder: Diagnosis and Management.
Teaching may include:
• NICE aligned assessment frameworks
• Diagnostic criteria including DSM 5 and ICD 11
• Differential diagnosis considerations
• Assessment structures and formulation approaches
• Governance and referral pathway considerations
Reference to NICE guidance does not imply endorsement, accreditation, approval, or affiliation by NICE.
All course content should be used alongside national guidance, local policies, employer procedures, and professional judgement.
5. Orders and Course Access
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase access to a digital educational programme, which may include live sessions, downloadable materials, recordings, or on demand content.
Orders are accepted once payment has been successfully processed and access has been granted to any part of the course or associated materials.
For live courses, dates, times, presenters, and delivery format are published on the relevant course page. We reserve the right to make reasonable amendments to delivery arrangements where necessary, including changes to scheduling, speakers, platforms, or teaching format.
Reasonable amendments to delivery arrangements shall not ordinarily constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.
Access periods for on demand content will be stated on the relevant course page and commence from the date access is first provided unless otherwise stated.
6. Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.
Prices may be amended at any time but will not affect orders already confirmed.
Where VAT is applicable, this will be displayed at checkout.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided and that all billing information supplied is accurate and complete.
7. Refunds, Cancellations and Transfers
Enrolment onto a course constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
No refunds will be issued once a course has been attended, accessed, commenced, or completed.
Cancellation or transfer requests made more than 28 days before the course start date are eligible for a refund minus a £60 administration fee to cover transaction and administrative costs.
Cancellation or transfer requests made between 14 and 28 days before the course start date will incur a charge of 50% of the course fee.
Cancellation or transfer requests made less than 14 days before the course start date are non refundable.
Where reasonably possible, delegates may transfer to an alternative course date subject to availability.
Delegate names and booking details may be amended provided replacement course materials or administrative reprocessing are not required.
ADHD Clinical Academy reserves the right to amend course dates, faculty, speakers, or delivery arrangements where reasonably necessary. In the unlikely event that ADHD Clinical Academy cancels a course, a full refund or alternative course date will be offered.
Digital Content and Consumer Rights
Certain courses include digital content, downloadable resources, recordings, live online teaching, or on demand access.
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, where digital content or course access has been provided, you acknowledge that the service has commenced and that statutory cancellation rights may no longer apply.
By purchasing a course, you expressly consent to immediate access or delivery where applicable and acknowledge the effect this may have on statutory cancellation rights.
Refunds will not ordinarily be issued for:
• Change of mind after access has been granted
• Failure to complete the course
• Dissatisfaction based solely on personal preference or expectations
• Inability to attend due to rota changes, sickness, workload, annual leave, or personal circumstances
• Lack of time or subsequent change in circumstances
• Professional suitability or scope concerns identified after booking
• Later determination that governance, indemnity, supervision, or regulatory requirements are not met
Refunds may be considered only where:
• Access has not yet been provided, or
• A verified technical fault prevents reasonable access and cannot reasonably be resolved
Refund requests must be submitted in writing.
8. Intellectual Property
All course materials, frameworks, templates, recordings, slides, branding, text, graphics, videos, downloadable resources, and certificates are the intellectual property of ADHD Clinical Academy or its licensors.
Materials are provided for personal educational use only.
You must not reproduce, distribute, record, share, upload to public or third party AI systems, commercially exploit, resell, or otherwise disseminate course content without prior written permission.
Unauthorised use may result in immediate termination of access without refund and may give rise to legal action.
9. Third Party Platforms and Links
We may provide access to third party platforms, software, or tools. These are provided on an “as is” basis and remain governed by their own terms and policies.
We are not responsible for the availability, security, performance, or content of third party services or websites.
Accessing third party services is undertaken at your own risk.
10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error free content, professional outcomes, employment opportunities, business success, clinical competency, or regulatory approval following participation in any course.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ADHD Clinical Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, business, professional, reputational, or financial losses arising from use of the Services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded under English law.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
11. Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where:
• These Terms are breached
• Eligibility or professional status has been materially misrepresented
• Course content is misused
• Unlawful, abusive, or inappropriate conduct is identified
No refunds will be issued following termination for breach of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services.
